Last night Mel had asked me if I had wanted to take a sleeping pill and I said that I was so tired that I would be fine. I was right and ended up sleepiung all night without an issue, but what is a bit of a concern is that my weight did increase by 2 lbs which would suggest ascites build up. I received a call on Friday asking if I had wanted to get drained and whether I wanted a tube permanently installed for easy drainage. I dexlined both right now because I did not think that I would need to get drained too frequently as it was generally 8 weeks or more in between, but now it seems to have dropped down to 3 weeks and I am not sure exactly why, I feel fine, but this evening I started to feel the pressure bui;d up inside. My eating and motion did not seem to be impacted, but my sudden increased physical fatigue may be attributed to the build up. We went to my in-laws for a birthday brunch and that went well enough and we followed it up with a trip to the grocery store in prep for food for tonight. I had a more elaborate menu planned out than was executed, but I was tired snd as soon as we came home from shopping I had some red curry broth that I had made earlier and then I went for a nap. We had planned to make burritos for the kids to eat from the freezer. The original plan was to make 20 burritos each. We bought a bunch of meat and half way through I realize I wad ttired and did not want to make it all as we had enough meat for 10. Olivier noticed that he might be starting to get sick and isolated himself from me in order to not get me sick. I appreciate his concern for me and his consideration for my health. Tomorrow Xavier is getting his braces tightened so we had to adjust his lunch for tomorrow and he has already requested specific things from my parents. While cooking, I could not taste the food and Xavier told me that it did not need extra seasoning, but it could handle it. I adjusted the meal but still could not taste it. While eating brunch this morning and dinner tonight I could not taste much. We had tacos and I could feel the crunch of the taco, a bit of the hot sauce and that is about it. The meat and avocado that I included, or the salsa I could not taste. I love cilantro though and could taste that, but the cilantro-lime crema I could not.

Hopefully I can get an appointment to get drained fairly early and I can relesse some of  that pressure early on during the week. It takes me a couple of days to recover from it. Mel today has made a comment that the last couple of weeks have felt so long with all of the various medical drama that has occurred. It was nice to have a normal weekend like this one. I have noticed that I have not written as much about positive things in the last week or so. Some of it is due to the current discomfort in my hands as I type. My hands are cold and the neuropathy is bad when it is loke that. I can only heat up one hand at a time in front of the heater. so the other hand gets cold and not comfortable. Holding my hands to my face, they feel quite cold to the touch. I should start typing with my gloves again until I can figure this part out. My hands might also be worse because I did not take my proper pills today. Mel spent all afternoon in the kitchen because she promised each kid different things. Xavier loves panna cotta and asks for it monthly and Mel has been promising to make it for a while, and Olivier asked for some lemon curd kind of a dish as well as muffins. Mel made everything before dinner and then helped me out with them and then went to deliver muffins and loaves to people after dinner. She has had some of our friends containers for upwards of 6 months or so so she decided to return them today as she never likes to return containers empty. My hands are cold so I am going to go soak in a bath and warm up.
