I have not been sleeping super well the last couple of nights and I am not sure exactly why. I am comfortable and tired when I go to bed so that is not the issue. I am waking up in the middle of the night. This morning we got confirmation from our contact in Spain that the drugs that I were given had alcohol in them, which would explain the reaction. The reaction is delayed which complicates things. It takes approximately 48 hours for the effects to get worse, but that seems to be the cause of my issues. The neuropathy in my hands are rather interesting now. I can touch thngs in both the fridge and the freezer without much issue, but baseline now is a tingling sensation. When I type on the keyboard I can feel my fngers and it slows down my typing speed. I seem to make more errors now compared to before. I have a bit of a rash from where I was taped up from getting drained. While they were doing it, I do not think that they used the tape for sensitive skin.
I love watching F1 and will get up at all hours to watch it. When Mel and i first started dating we had made a bet and she had lostm and the penalty was one of two options, watch an F1 race or watch a college football game. An F1 race is 90 minutes but early mornings, or a 4 hour game in the afternoon or evening. She had to stay up for the whole thing so she originally chose to watch F1. Mel fell asleep and said it was too boring and then opted for the college game, which she also could not finish. I asked her to help me out and get up for the 7am race tomorrow morning and she declined. I am so disappointed. i think that i am going to be up anyway and I will take a nap afterwards. I realized today that I still need to manage my energy properly, as when we came home I decided to take a bath and I was rather tired during that. The part that is difficult for me is gettng up out of the bath tub,. as that is what makes me tired. I get out and siit on the side of the tub and then a quick shower and then out. Standing up is not a big deal, but I need to make sure that I am not too tired when I get up out of the bath tub. I was hoping that Mel would get up, make me breakfast in bed and feed me while I watch the race. It is the least that she can do for National Pancake day. I will probably watch the race and take a nap and then we will go to the market afterwards. Tomorrow night we have a party to attend, so I will make sure that i take a nap in the aternoon prior to us going to the party, I want to make sure that I have enough energy for the party so that we can stay for a bit. We will not end up staying too late in the evening, but we will stay for a reasonable time.
There are a lot of things that I want to do within the next year, such as take a trip out east and out west with the family. Mel has looked into it, but it is a bit pricey to go for a weekend trip and she is starting to run out of vacation days. When I was in the vehicle driving the boys to their haircut appointment I asked them if they wanted to go see a Maple Leaf game of the Wolves. Xavier said yes and Olivier said he would go for the food and the atmosphere. Xavier told Oliiver that one of the conditions was thst you had to have braces or currently have them. I am not sure where he comes up with his ridiculousness as he tries to convince Olivier to get them. Mel wants him to, but he has no interest in doing that right now. I do not think that peer pressure will work on both of our kids luckily.
