I have a lot of different things to be grateful for. I am going to try and write something daily that I was grateful for
1.) I am grateful for my colleagues at work and how people reach out to me to check on how I am doing. Most are concerned about bothering me or asking too much, but the fact that they care enough to ask is awesome.
2.) The other adult in the household whom we split chores. We use to split everything 50/50, but now it is more 90/10. Where I spend 90% of the time supervising from the couch to make sure that everything is done. I know that it is tough, but I appreciate that she is ok with only doing 10% supervision of household chores and is actively involved doing front line work.
3.) I have learned that the mind is far more powerful then any other feelings. That if you allow yourself to feel down or allow negativity it will impact you immensely. There are times where I am feeling tired or do not want to do something, and during these times someone reminds me to suck it up and do not be a sucker. It might sound harsh, but I appreciate it and then I normally feel better fairly quick.
