Today was the third day of treatment. The people that were around me today were pleasant and it was a relatively fine experience. I brought my laptop with me this time and did work on my tablet and laptop throughout the whole session. One of the guys said if I knew you were allowed to bring your laptop I would have done work as well. I did not find out what he did for a living, as the chats were mainly just teasing the nurses.
My white blood count levels was 30, when normally it is 7. So tomorrow I am going to see if I will take my Neulasta injection or not. The other blood work seems normal, but it is always fun when things go up and down so much and then the next day whatever was out of whack returns to normal.
Once I got home, the amount of tingling in my fingers was quite high. My right hand was hyper sensitive to anything cold. I also forgot about the eating where my first bite locks up my jaw….and I get to disinfect the washroom every time I use it for the next week. Super fun. I wear winter gloves and then latex gloves over them right now to help combat the coldness from the Lysol wipes. It is not super fun.
