This morning Mel and Xavier went up to Bay’s water to close up the camp for the winter. My father in law seems to have the worst luck and there was an issue with the motor that they use. The boat ride requires multiple portages where you need to drag the boat over a couple of beaver dams. It is quite a lot of work to get out there, but the fishing was great. When the motor did not work, Xavier said that they should walk along the railroad tracks to get to the camp, but my father in law made some arrangements and got another engine to use. Xavier loves fishing and that is why he wanted to go on this trip. They managed to catch some fish and bring it back. On the way back Xavier drove for a bit and almost managed to throw Mel into the water, but she hung on tightly and did not get tossed. Mel’s father tried, but again he failed to overturn the boat, so no crazy stories about that. Xavier is getting so much bigger and clothing that I had for camping now fits him, so it is good that Mel and I did not get rid of alot of it. It looks good on him and it fits him well. He will be able to wear a lot of my older stuff. Both of our kids can do their own laundry, cook meals and know how to grocery shop. I had a craving for Krispy Kreme donuts and my sister was supposed to get some earlier in the day, but she forgot and she went back with Olivier later and there were none left. He knew where they were and where to find them, he then convinced her t check Kwik-way where he then got her to buy him treats. Both of the boys will be able survive when they get a bit older and get their own apartments and need to live on their own. Xavier said he could do it now if he had money. He said he could live in our house and i said it was too expensive for him. His solution was to sell off all of my jackets and clothing and his hockey equipment. That was amusing as he understands what is important and what is not.
My sister came over today and made some fresh mozzarel;a cheese with Olivier, so now he knows how to make multiple kinds. He complained a bit that he did not do much to Mel and myself as he said that my sister handled the stretching when the cheese was hot, which is understandable. The day was actually pretty restful and I managed to rest and relax, and then my sister went and brought my parents here to make dinner. I am never making that mistake again when Mel is not here. They kept on asking me questions and wanted me to help them to do things and it exhausted me. I did not realize how bad it was until afterwards but I feel so completely drained. I am completely exhausted and will not invite them over again to help cook something if Mel is not present. I can not handle it and the repercussions of the energy expenditure is not worth it. I love what they made for dinner, but it did not sit well and I forced it down because I had to eat. The impact lasts long into the evening and night and I still do not feel comfortable and tried to drink some coconut water to help out with things, but nothing is sitting well right now as my whole body is incredibly fatigued and achy. I am going to bed soon now.
