With the weather improving Melanie has been outside doing work to improve our backyard. She mentioned that she did not want me to expand the garden, yet she keeps on buying more and more things to plant. Yesterday she bought perennials to put in the yard, the problem is that we are running out of room on where to plant things. Our shower is full of flowers and our grass is slowly being removed in place of other plants now. We had a discussion on how much to spend on plants. I think she set the budget to $1000 per week, as she might kill some plants and will need to replace them as she goes. Melanie joined a gardening facebook group and picks up tips from them. Today my father in law came to trim the cedars separating our house and the neighbours. The chainsaw was not working properly so I think I will need to bring that in to get checked out. At the same time I will purchase a hedge trimmer.
We should have bought the house across the street to convert it to a garden.
Bahaha!! Excuse me, I’ll have you know that the majority of my plants are doing just fine out there and that one does not learn what will work well in their garden if one does not try new things!
