Yesterday when I came in for pre-admisson there was someone at the entrance asking for money. I never carry cash so did not give him any. The lady behind me asked him what he needed the money for and he said for some food at Tim Hortons. She proceeded to give him enough money so he could buy what he wanted to eat. It was quite the nice gesture. He then proceeded to try and give people a tip to bypass the Covid screening saying if you had a patient band you can just walk in. Clearly no one in line had one, but he tried to help the best he could.
My appointment today got delayed, from 8am to 11:20. It was interesting to see how some aspects of the system are broken. The fact that the appointment was moved is not a big deal, but a lot of the information that I went through yesterday was not shared for my appointment today.
You had your surgery yesterday. I hope everything went well. I know you are sore and tired today, but I want to reach out to you. Sending positive thought your way.
