Over the last couple of days I have had a quite a few people reach out to me. I am not sure if it is because I have not been writing as much, but things have been busy with work and hockey. I am struggling a bit with typing and something that would normally take me minutes to type now take me more time and effort. Once I get warmed up it is not bad. I drive Xavier to RHP right now which is not too far away. When I get in the car, it takes me time to adjust to that as well. It is an adjustment as I struggle type to type without looking. It is like my fingers are offset slightly and it is not the same. If i look at the keyboard it helps a bit but i need to get better at it, my left hand does seem to be as impacted.
Melanie was concerned that I may be having a stroke, or a TIA. We are currently in the ED and they are ruling things out. So far things are pretty good… Nothing special. I look forward to talking to my colleagues that I have not spoken to in awhile.
