In the last 2 games Xavier has let in 7 goals in each game. It is not normal for him to allow so many goals, regardless of how his team is playing. He said that he could not see a lot of the shots with the traffic. This week he did not have his private 1:1 session so I think it contributes to his play when he does not have the weekly correction. He did not play bad, but he did not play up to his usual standard. The team has not done well when the calls from the refs do not go our way. The parents get agitated as well and the refs warned the coach to tell our parents to summer down. In order to guarantee a spot in the semifinals we need to win our next game by 3 points. When you have 3 way ties it goes down to goal differential and there are multiple ways that they can calculate it. Sometimes it is the raw difference of goals for and goals against. Sometimes it is a percentage of goals vs goals for and against. Regardless I calculated the number where if we get that then no matter what happens we are in. It comes very easy and naturally for me to look and see what the value is. I relayed it to the coaches and we ended up winning by 4 so we will advance tomorrow now. The top 2 are locked in for the other division and ours is basically set in stone barring a miracle.
I do not feel very good today. I have felt like throwing up all day and did end up throwing up after dinner. Luckily it is just mucous and no food, but I have had pain through my body today. Where the surgery was as well as across my abdomen. I am not sure if it was because I was out and about all day at the hockey games, but it has been a rough day today.
Even with all the goals Xavier let in today he did not show outward signs of distress and recalibrated himself fairly quickly. He has said that he has been tired and tomorrow with an earlier game he will be tested. I am not sure how I am holding up today and I think I may go to bed much earlier than I have been. This is all for today. My whole body does not feel so awesome, but perhaps a warm shower after will help me out.
