Sudbury has atrocious drivers. The weather is abysmal outside right now, but it seems that people forget the rules of the road when conditions are slippery. I do not really mind people driving cautiously but I think it is a bit ridiculous that people do not even try and stop at the lights and drive through when it is completely red. They do not even brake when they see a yellow light. The parking lot at the cancer center was a mess with people driving in the one-way. I am not sure why they do that when there are cars coming down and the sign clearly says one way. A lot of people need to get dropped off at the entrance and it is understandable. There is an an area where you can drop people off, but I do not understand why some cars block off the turns or stop in such a way to block off both lanes entering the area. There is no purpose in doing that.
If people do not need to be on the streets today, they should probably avoid it. The wind was rather vicious this afternoon owing snow everywhere. Mel has gone out to shovel several times as Xavier went skiing today at Adanac. This afternoon I went out and helped Mel shovel for a little bit. I got the power shovel out and used that and did a bit by hand. Lifting makes me about sore and I get tired easily but I managed to do enough to make a difference. Olivier had hurt himself inside so Mel went to check on him and I finished up what Mel had left. There was approximately 1/4 left of the upper part of the driveway and I cleared most of that as best as I could. I had on several jackets, my snow pants and my arc’teryx ski gloves. I have a dedicated pair of gloves that I use exclusively for shoveling but I am not sure where they are at the moment. I have helped shovel a couple of times now and it makes me rather tired with the energy expenditure but I feel the need to try and push myself.
My food intake is slowly increasing as I keep on eating small amounts frequently throughout the day. I think that I have things under control now and can expand my stomach enough slowly that I can eat a whole burger by the summer. That is my goal. To be able to finish a kid portion of food. Right now I am at a toddler stage. When we go to Ottawa I am looking forward to my meal of bone marrow. For most it would be an appetizer but for me it will be enough to fill me up. As of right now I eat like a toddler and like a young baby I am growing quickly. The exception is that as a baby they have clothing that fits for a week and then they outgrow them. It is the same for me, but the opposite direction. I think that I would fit into small right now. I may even go down to an XS. I do not remember the last time I fit into that size.
My stomach looks super red around my scar and it looks like I have been severely sunburned. At my session they said that it looks good and it looks like I am taking care of it. There is some redness to it, but it looks good. They mentioned that it was good that I was wearing loose fitting clothing and that I did not have tight tops on. I have not worn tight fitting crop tops since the 80’s when they were all the rage with the hair bands. I just need to get the hair style going now and I would rock. I have the super skinny model look going right now and I am rocking a 9.7% body fat. I have food intake under control and am managing fatigue fairly well. With light excercise during the day I am still functioning ok. I suspect it is the extra rest day that I am getting. I will test that theory out this week and see how things go. Coming back last night, eating in the car is difficult when Mel is driving and tries to hit every pot hole and bump in Sudbury. It makes my sensitive stomach a bit queasy. Hopefully the highway will not be as bad, or she can avoid those bumps. Luckily with the amount of snow we recieved today the roads are super smooth.
