She has been working from home so she can make sure that I am ok. So far today everything has been fine and my eating schedule has been fine. I thnk that he was worried that I might not take all of my pills, but I have been able to do it relatively easy. I was able to go to Tarini quickly to pick up some meat there as well as empty the dishwasher and reload it. So the tasks that I can do is improving and energy wise things are fine. My blood pressure is still low, but it did not seem to have much impact on my ability to do things today. The mouth sores are getting better and my taste buds are getting a bit better. It amuses me how every day I can taste a new flavour or the texture of things do not bother me as much. I opened a fruit punch today and I can taste the flavours in that. I still can not really taste salt, or any bitterness.

We received the written report from Spain and Mel went through it and said that the docmentation said that the fluids came back negative and there is no reference to the lining at all. She sent a message asking for cliarification about the tissue samples because the doctors had referred to that but the paperwork we received did not include it. Hopefully we get that soon so we can share it with our doctors here, even if they are written in Spanish. It does not really change much in terms of treatment for now, but I think we just want some accuracy. I should be getting another CT scan in June so we can then check whether the PIPAC and the next set of chemotherapy has had an impact. When Mel is gone, my sister in law is going to join me in the hospital and work from there while we hang out. It is a bit boring as we just really sit there and not much happens. I do get tired as the day drags on towards the end of the day. With the appointment on Wednesday I will go in on the Friday to get disconnected. So the days that I am extra tired will shift a bit with a lingering impact on the Monday now. Previously I could use the weekened to recover. Hopefully the mouth sores are completely healed by then.

We had a lot of things delivered today. I got a new griddle that spans two burners and we can use it outside as well. I bought it so we can make pancakes or smash burgers inside faster. Mel questioned why we needed more pans. The question is why would we not? She also noticed a press in a box, but that came with the griddle to make smash burgers and things. I have a bunch of Chef’s presses and that is what she thought I had bought. I actually did buy 4 more of those, but they have not arrived yet and they stack with the ones we have so she might not notice. They are different weights that you use depending on the meat, and I only had 1 that was the proper weight for steaks and I bought 2 more of that weight and 2 more of a higher weight. I also ordered some butter and some anchovies. Mel said that she wanted to have the anchovies with chips like we had in Barcelona, but just 1 or 2. She said she liked them, but could not eat them like my sister and I could. They are delicious and the white anchovies are nowhere as salty as the regular ones. I am looking forward to this weekend and hopefully my taste buds are back and we can have a nice charcuterie board for dinner one night.

Q

Today is the first day that Mel has left me alone all day.
