I am finishing up my coffee right now and my stomach is not really full, but I am feeling some nausea. It is awesome. I think that if I tried to eat something right now that it would not sit very well. I realized that the impact of all this is supposed to last for 2 weeks, but I thought that some of the nausea would subside instead of instead of increasing. Mel is a bit worried about this as i did not have much issue with eating for the last 5 years and lately it has been worse. Over the last couple of days I have vomited quite a few times. Those meals were a bit carb heavy though, pizza from Cortina, which would suggest that I should not eat it right now as it is rather heavy. When I have been eating pizza lately we get the ultra thin crust from Toppers or some sort of wood oven pizza that naturally comes with a very thin crust. Last night we had a BLT and that did not sit so well either. This morning I am having avocado toast to see how that sits. This time however I took my pills prior and ate some avocado and I will make sure that I eat it slow enough.

I failed. I now suspect it is the acidity in the food itself. I ate some clam chowder afterwards and it was successful. I figured that I would try something with no acid to see what the impact would be. I think dinner should be ok even though there is a bit of acid in the food. It is a bit worrisome that I am having some difficulty with food, but I need to figure out why. I can then discuss this when I meet with my doctors in a few weeks. If it continues next week I will talk with the dietician. On the bright side however, my weight has been stable and slowly increasing. I also need to make sure that for now I adhere to the size limitations for food volume or weight. When I follow that I am actually ok. I no longer have as many issues with fatigue like previous weeks which is nice and I have not had much mental fogginess.

We have quite a lot of hockey this weekend. I will see what the impact of being out and about has on every thing. If normally has an impact on my eating, but it can not be worse than what I am doing now. I think that I will be ok as long as I am careful and after dinner I suspect acidity and carbs is what is causing the issue. Rice noodles with a peanut butter sauce, chicken and red peppers sat fine and I did not have an issue as of now but it seems to be sitting fine. Of course in the past it took 45 minutes to an hour before I vomited so it is hard to say what the impact will be.

Q

I need to make sure that I take my anti-nausea pills.
