I can not believe how tired and nauseous I was from the treatment today. I can totally understand how I lost so much weight the first time. Luckily I can eat without it physically hurting as the first time I had a had time swallowing. Right now I am eating ok, just the amounts have seemed to decrease a bit, but I think that it is getting better each day. I had to take several naps today. They were short 15 minute naps but I had a hard time keeping my eyes open. When I worked this morning though I did not notice the nausea so much as I think I had a purpose and I was distracted. Talking too much however made me feel a bit queasy so I had to balance that. Tomorrow is my last treatment day and Mel is going to come so she can take a video of me ringing the bell. If she did not come then I would probably not ring the bell by myself. She asked what did I want to do to celebrate, so we are flying to Lima Peru to eat at Maido. That is what I would like to do, we can see if she planned that for me or not. It should be pretty easy to pull off. Xavier has hockey at 3 and everyday for the next 5 days. If we get on a private jet we can get there and back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This morning I had to shovel the driveway in order to get the vehicle out. Mel did not get up early to do it as I left fairly early for my 7:30 appointment. Tomorrow my appointment is at the same time so we need to leave the house by 7am. Mel will need to be up at 6:30 to make Olivier’s lunch and make sure he is ready to go. When he has had to do it on his own he has managed. I opted to not meet up with the nurse as I know what they will say. The student today told me that what the nurses will say is that the effects of radiation will last for 2 more weeks and if there are any issues then I should call in. I told her that I can call one of the doctors or one of the nurses that I know. I am in good hands so I was not too worried. My brain is blah right now so I am going to grab some food and rest for the evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
