Perception is quite an interesting thing. People who have met me in the last couple of years see me quite differently than those who knew me pre-cancer. Mel and I today went to the market and we saw one of my colleages from the hospjtal and he barely recognized me as I am significanly smaller than I was when I was ate hospital. A friend of mine that I had not seen for a while, prior to this second instance of cancer thought that I did not look great as I am now also 20 lbs lighter, but those who have seen me over the last year and saw me get worse and see me slower gain weight think that I look great now compared to a couple of months ago. I had shown some people what I looked like prior to me having cancer and most people are quite surprised with the size difference between me than and now. Xavier is taking after me and is slowly growing and will be quite muscular.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Things are getting back to normal a bit now besides some of tne tastes. It is nice, because for the last couple of days I have been able to eat and taste things for the most part. The neuropathy tpday is getting better. My lreft hand feels quite normal, but my right hand is still a bit more tingly. When we went to the market this morning, and walking around Walmart, I could feel the tingling sensation in my feet, but it was not too bad. I went to bed early last night because I knew that I was going ro get up earlier to watch the F1 race todaya, and I then took a nap after the race before the market. The market was quite disappointing and I am going to take a nap this afternoon prior to us going out for this evening. I tend to only nap for an hour at a time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The party we attended was probably one of the most lavish parties that we have ever attended and it was quite a lot of fun. We ended up leaving just before 11pm as my energy was starting to go down and I did not want to be in a position that was too precarious. Undressing at home I realize how tired I am and I am glad that we left. I will rest up now and hopefully everything will be awesome tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
