When I weighed myself today my weight was up significantly, but I had just finished eating so the 147lb I think is fake. I took a bath today and I realized that I was starting to lose body hair. Interesting it is most evident with your body hair as you see hair in your underwear and undershirts. I touched my head and I could easily take hair out. It is not too bad yet, but it is going to make a wonderful mess soon enough. I asked Mel to bring me my electric razor to shave my head. She could not find the one that I had wanted to use. Success! I finally found it and convinced Mel to shave my head. She was worried about making a mess in the bathtub and clogging the drain, and I said we could do it in the entry way and we can then vacuum it all up. This is a very tiny razor that I have that is designed for beard trimming as well as for removing body hair. She was far more successful this time with the removal and now I am completely bald again. Oivier was watching and said that I look like a monk now. As Mel was shaving my head he kept on asking questions about my body, such as the thing sticking out of my chest. We explained that it was a port that provides blood directly to my veins. He then saw the dent in my head and asked about that and we said it was from brain surgery. It was amusing explaining all of the flaws that I have on my body, he did not seem to notice all of the scars across my chest. I would have told him that they are from my knife fighting in the junles of Vietnam. The reason why I wanted it done now is because it makes a mess in the house and my regular stylist generally does not work in the middle of the week. She would probably make an exception for me and shace my head, but I did not want to do that and ask her to. When we were done Mel remembered that our neighbour across the street does this as well from her house so we could have probably gone there as well. This is far more convenient and Mel is not as intimidated this time from it. In theory I could now go with a straight edge and get it completely smooth, but there is the risk of cutting myself. My doctors had told me previously to use an electric razor to shave and not use a blade so I have listened.

As soon as I had to shave my head some lyrics popped into my head from punk songs and Olivier also mentioned while Mel was shaving the sides of my head that I looked like a punk rocker. My friends that I grew up with and those that listened to this music will know where this verse comes from.

“F#@k you, I hate you,” is all she said
As she slapped my face and spit beer on me
And my pants are falling down
She said, “You’re a no good, ugly, dumb
Stupid punk rocker with a bad haircut
And your pants are falling down”

I even censored the lyrics. I am not exactly sure why that song popped into my head as soon as I knew that I was going to cut my hair but it does amuse me. I am not sure if I know many other songs that discuss haircuts, but this one did. When I first went to University, I attended Guelph to be different. I knew no one there and decided to take a Co-op B.Sc. in Psychology program there instead of attending a school where my friends were. The campus there was beautiful and they have one of the best food programs for the cafeterias. I do not remember exactly why I chose that school but I made a lot of friends there, none that I have kept in touch with now. I did for a while but now I do not. Some of them went on to become rather famours TV personanalities. At this time though I did meet one of my friends over the internet from the US. At the time she lived in Nebraska and I can not remember exactly where or how we met but I do remember at the time we were on some sort of a site that was supposed to be anonymized and kept your private information safe. It did not and I had messaged the people that I was talking to and told them that their information was exposed. She was Chinese living in Nebraska and her parents owned a restaurant. We would randomly chat at random times and kept in touch even though we have never met. She eventually married an awesome guy with the most awesome name. He is the IVth of his name and they named their child with the naming convention of the Vth generation. Xavier wants to try and get someone to be named Xavier Mach X for the tenth. It would be awesome, but to keep that going for 10 generations would be very difficult. Every year she sends me food on my real birthday. She has sent me red velvet cakes, crepe cakes and recently she sends over food and gets me the most random of gifts. Her father interestingly had stomach cancer and she has sent me Asian remedies for it and I have tried some of it out along with what I do, but some of it does not taste awesome. It does not have a strong taste, but it does not taste awesome. As Jisoo from Black Pink would say, “Not Bad, but not good”. It is a saying that she has said over the years for various reasons and she gets some hate for it. I do not know if I have ever listened to BlackPink but interestingky enough I do get some KPop and things on my mix because we do listen to BabyMetal. I heard her say it on Hot Eats and I thought it was an awesome saying. It reminds me of Xavier and his, “pretty not bad”. It has the same energy to it.

Tomorrow morning I go in again for some bloodwork and pre-assessment and hopefully it all comes back ok and I get to have treatment this week. The doctor had mentioned that if my WBC drop a bit then on the 2nd or 3rd week of treatment I would get that wonderful injection. Mel is becoming quite the all-rounder now. She is a regional director/house-wife/maid/fixer-upper/PSW/medication injectror/head shaver. I need to think of some sort of new skill we can add to it. She has no musical talent, despite her family being full of them. Mel lacks talent as a songstress. I think that I am going to stop writing now as a song that is playing that reminds of my one of my favorite books.
