I then tried it on my own and it was slightly different and it was amusing because it did not know that it was me. I have paid accounts to most of the various AI systems for various reasons through work. What her AI wrote and what mine wrote were different. I have put instructions into mine and it gave more technical answers compared to hers. I was quite amused by what it wrote though for everything and it called Mel the strategic architect of the house. There were some terms that it brought up that I was not familiar with called “Radical Vulnerability”. I had to look that up to see what it means as it is not something that I was consciously doing, but I do believe that it envelops what my writing has been. IT involves the unfiltered sharing of information while lowering your defenses. The intent is to build connections through shared human struggles and I know that people have told both myself and Mel that reading my blog was like having a looking glass into our everyday lives. It also highlighted how analytical I am in my writing and the way that I am going through this. From a researcher point of view, if you want to truly analyze how you are doing you can not sugar coat things. It is not reflective of what you are doing and it is hard to ascertain how things are. Some of the information that I share with my struggles may be a bit much but I am writing to keep a record of my mental state as I progress as well as keeping those who are interested informed of how I am doing. My dearest sister-in-law knows that she can follow up on my blog to know how I am doing instead of calling me hourly like she used to. Her hourly calls use to be too much and I am not sure how she was not fired from her job sneaking off to the bathroom every hour to call me to check in. Across the different AI bots they all come up with similar sentiment of Mel. They all love her as much as most people do in real life.

I have still been in a cranky mood today and Xavier faced the brunt of it today with my frustrations. We made fish and chips for dinner and I had made a batch of tarter sauce which both boys love to eat. Xavier was attempting to dunk his fish right into the container where I had made the sauce in and I told him to stop and asked him what he was thinking and questioned why would he even do that. He tried to argue that he did not know that he was not supposed to do that, but I was in an annoyed state already. In other instances I would have been more patience but I had very little tolerance. Earlier when I was making food Olivier and Xavier were arguing and fighting with each other. I kept on telling them to stop but they kept on pestering each other and complaining and it annoyed me to no end. Olivier would also not shut up and kept on talking and asking so many questions and Mel and I both asked for silence. He is a kid though and is always creatively thinking and normally I would not want to stifle it, but sometimes when they have been bickering for a while, silence is welcoming. Xavier will generally make some sort of counter comment to Olivier’s running dialogue, which result in Olivier sharply shouting his brother’s name. Him talking generally results in escalation of the fighting as opposed to de-scalation as Xavier is also a troublemaker who gets great joy in angering his brother. We have told Olivier to not engage with Xavier when he does this but we do not think that Olivier can help himself and he will just keep on talking and talking. He gets that from Mel who was always a chatterbox. After I scolded Xavier, he refused to eat any of the sauce on principal. He use to do that as a child and it would annoy Mel and I so much. When he was super young and someone bought him something for his brother’s birthday he refused to ever use it because he was not supposed to receive a gift on his brother’s birthday. He is quite stubborn like that. I was cooking the fish in batches and I had just taken a batch out of hot oil and placed it on a plate and Olivier grabbed it and was surprised it was hot. He said he did not know and we asked him if he saw that I literally just removed it from oil onto the plate. A couple of minutes later it happened again and he exclained loudly that it was hot and we reiterated what had just happened. My social battery is completely drained from being out and about for various things over 2 weeks. I am looking forward to having the house to myself tomorrow as Mel ventures to Wonderland with her sister and the kids. A part of me wants to go if we were going to go out for dim sum for dinner. Me going would make it easier for Xavier to get on rides as well as I get timed passes so we could bypass lines. The thing is that I do not think that energy wise I can handle being gone for so long. I do not have fear of missing out in Wonderland. What I have is fear of opportunity for deliciousness. The other option is I go down and do my own thing. It uis my favorite sister’s birthday tomorrow but she always has plans otherwise I could hang out with her.

Mel had me make sandwiches for everyone traveling in the van, with the exception of Olivier who thought that it was crazy to have a sandwich at breakfast. I had to make some sandwiches according to what people wanted, and I cringe a bit because the sandwich is going to be sub-par. The first issue is I hate making sandwiches the night before as it impacts the bread. Second issue is that to prevent the bread from getting too soggy you need to control moisture content. That means no tomatoes as tomatoes should not be refrigerated as they become mealy. There is also quite a bit of lettuce which I would normally toss lightly in a dressing to give it a bit of acidity. Some people wanted mayo and some butter, but they serve different purposes and my preference would be to have enough that it protects the bread from absorbing too much moisture. I salted the butter and had earlier tried to find some nice cultured salted butter, but the brands that I like were not available. Mel then questioned the amount of meat that I had on the sandwich compared to the bread. I should have taken some of the bread out as that is what I normally do, but in my haste I did not, but the ratio of meat, vegetables, and cheese to bread should be sufficient. What the sandwich is missing is proper balance to prevent it from being too dry, though for a vehicle meal it is ok. I also wrap the sandwich in parchment paper and then cut it in half and then wrap that in cling wrap. It helps to keep the integrity of the sandwich from falling apart. This is why Mel does not make her own sandwich and always gets me to make it for her. I take far more care to the preparation and assembly. This is something that I learned from my parents. My dad would make his own mayo for the banh mi sandwiches and they would always pickle their own vegetables. If my dad could make his bread similar to what they do down south at some of the banh mi places I would always prefer home made, but some of the shops down south have superior bread and home made pate that is delicious. One of the pates that I love to use is a canned one that is pretty cheap. It has a nice texture to it and I can load up heavily on it. I like to have a lot of pickled vegetables and cilantro on my sandwich and I will add on green onions which you do not get at most banh mi shops as well as adding a bit of Maggi seasoning. Olivier does not always like the traditional cold cut meat banh mu sandwich, but when we were in Toronto he ordered a BBQ pork one that he enjoyed. I will make a crispy pork belly one when I get the chance. Last time I made it the kids enjoyed it, but Mel does not always like the fat. If I was in better condition I would go down south, ditch them and hang out with my legion of fans.

Quoc Hao

My sister told me that the website was done yesterday and she normally keeps a tab open to check on my blog, but she does a search on occasion for it and she shared a screen shot of an AI synopsis.
