Sometimes things align perfectly and everything comes together all at once. That is today. I am having a bit of a rough day today, between the constant bowel movements, head aches, constant fatigue, tingling and numbness in the mouth, discomfort in my stomach and the neuropathy, I am struggling a bit today. Luckily this does not happen all that often and having some of these symptoms at once is bearable, but the combination of everything today is a bit exhausting. Some of this was expected and I just need to persevere for 1 more day and by Tuesday things will start getting better. I have taken several naps today and I still feel so tired. Mel was making fun of me because she had laid down beside me this morning for my nap and she said I wa in deep sleep and then the next moment I decided I would be awake and I was wide awake. She is slow to fall asleep and slow to get up. I prefer to do both instantly, as it saves so much more time and effort. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
My taste buds today are interesting today, I can not taste sweetness by itself, but with fat I can. I could not taste any sugar in my coffee, when I ate pancakes with butter and syrup I could taste the sweetness. Olivier and Mel made a double batch of pancakes and he made some to freeze, combining chocolate chips and bacon bits. An interesting combination, but if he is the one that it is eating it, then it is fine. I need to remember that on days like this my preference is soups and gentle things like that. When we were in Toronto I bought some miso paste and I like to drink some miso soup and add in additional miso paste so I can taste it a bit more. We have a relatively simple dinner that we will make tonight, with some of the mushrooms we purchased at the market. The kids enjoy it when I make a mushroom, pancetta pasta in a a cream sauce. It is relatively simple to do and I can get everyone to help out with the cooking. I will not be able to taste anything so I am going to need some assistance with making the meal. We are starting to run out of coconut water and Fairlife for Xavier so I ordered some from Costco along with a 3lb wheel of cheese. I am not sure how big this wheel of cheese will be but Mel is going to love that I bought one. It was a cretain type of pecorino that I had wanted to buy and I hace not seen it everywhere so I had to buy it. I love reading some reviews on things when people do not understand how things are eaten. This cheese had some bad reviews like it was too hard and it was too salty. The cheese is a hard cheese that is aged and similar to parmesan. People need to understand how to use some of the ingredients priot to giving them bad ratings. This is not the type of cheese that you cut off a large chunk of and eat like cheddar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Xavier is outside mowing the lawn and Melanie had wanted him to wear steel toed boots for when he mowed the lawn. He laughed and said he could do it in Crocs, so Mel came to me for backup and said that he should be wearing steel toed boots to be safe. I told her that it was fine, but what I should have done is told her that we also need to make sure that he has a kevlar suit with kevlar gloves. With the mowing machine as soon as you release the bar it turns off, and with the distance between where you walk and the machine itself, it seems to be quite difficult to actually come close enough to get your feet close to the lawn mower. There can be danger if you are trying to clean out the blades of the lawn mower, but cutting your feet seems to be rather tricky. Tomorrow morning I will be going in for my PET scan and hopefully I will be ok energy wise. I am supposed to fast so I am assuming that I will be getting an injection of some sort, It would have been nice if I could have had used the port, but I am not sure if there is anyone there that will know how to use the port. I am tired and can not think much today, so I am going to end this here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
