This morning I realized something when I woke up needing to pee. When I went to the washroom I realized that my skin was a bit wet. It seems that at some point I had dribbled all over myself. Looking at the undergarment it was difficult to tell, but I know I did because I could feel the moisture. It is an indicator that it has been a wise decision for me to have them as I am oblivious to when it happens, but it will happen when I am very tired. I had toyed with the idea on occasion to skip this but I have not and it is good I did not. Tonight I am going back to my boost. When I was up for the first time I went back to bed, but then on the second wake up I knew that i would not be able to and decided to go make something to eat instead. I had some leftover sauce from dinner last night where I made a sauce using sauage and had it on crispy fried polenta. I am not sure exactly how but the polenta was a bit salty and I did not want to cut a piece and make it crispy. I instead grabbed a cheese manoushe from the freezer and slathered the sauce on that. It was delicious and while that was heating up I was in the washroom. I had a difficult time falling asleep afterwards as i had a lot of ideas in my head and then spent the last couple of hours getting my thoughts down and started doing some work. I know that I am a hypocrite and tell my team not to work on the weekend while I consistently do it all of the time,

We had to get some groceries for lunch as Mel’s father was coming to help out with some things and I also wanted to buy some ingredients for dinner, I went to the grocery store at 8:45 with Xavier and we bought what we needed before coming home. By the time we can home Mel’s dad had come to help out with things around the house and hin and Mel were discussing what had to be done. Once we got home I started prepping for dinner, and seasoned the steaks so that it could dry brine prior to dinner. I made some dry ramen noodles that we had previously purchased and shared it with Xavier as I can never finish a full bowl by myself. My father in law asked if I was going to eat it all and Mel told him that at times I just eat half and save the rest for later, but I had opted to share it with Xavier from the start and asked him if he wanted some and he said sure. If Olivier was around he would have probably had some as well. I had wanted to prep my potatoe salad prior so it had time to really meld the flavours so I spent the morning doing that. It actually took me quite a lot longer than I had anticipated to make it all and Mel and her father went out to get supplies that they needed for home renovations. Xavier emptied the dishwasher and I ended up cleaning the kitchen as well and everyone came home at 12:30 and Mel started prepping for lunch. Everyone had their sandwiches made by the time I had started making mine and Olivier was telling everyone the mistakes that Mel had made when she had made him sandwiches this week. I am the one that generally makes sandwiches for everyone and Olivier is aware of how I layer on toppings and flavours. Mel rarely makes her own sandwiches and normally gets me to make them for her. There are a lot of little things that I do that she does not that changes the sandwich. Olivier decided to put mayonnaise on his sandwich and then toast his bread on the pan to get a nice crust on it while leaving the rest of the bun soft. As soon as the bread came off the pan, he put cheese on it to help warm it up. When layering on the meat, he told Mel that you need to crumple it on not put it on flat with one layer or fold it, but make a small pile with the meat. He also made sure that his condiments ended up covering the bread completely. I was tired after all this as I was out about in the morning running errands followed by prep work for dinner. It seems that standing up and doing things for 3 hours or so drains me.

One of the first memories I have of coming to Canada was building a fort in kindergarten with these large wooden blocks. I remember playing by myself and not understanding what people were telling me as I did not know english at the time. As I was quite young at the time there is not a lot of memories that I recall. The teachers during my early life had tried to incorporate me into things and there was a session in grade 2 where I ended up moving. I remember a discussion where the class was talking about me moving and one kid in the class had mentioned that his house was the same address as where I was moving to. In this day and age I am not sure if we would be broadcasting to everyone in the class our home addresses. When we moved into where my parents live now, there was a family that lived in up the hill and our back yards joined. From that point forward that family became a permanent fixture in my life where I am still close to him and his family. I do not remember much about him from school at that point but I do remember him standing in his back yard at the top of the hill and me at the bottom of the hill in my backyard. From that point forward we would constantly jump the fence and were inseparable until we left for University.

Q

I am a bit tired today.
